How to hang your flatscreen TV

One of the great things about flatscreen TV's is...that they can be wall mounted and here we are going to tell you how!

Step 1: Buy a Bracket

Take your TV model details to an electrical/hardware supplier such Mitre 10 or Harvey Norman where they will be able to sell you the correct wall bracket. Brackets come in a variety of styles, from simple ones that are stationary and flush with the wall, ones that can move from side to side and/or swivel up and down and ones that feature arms that swing outwards from the wall.

Step 2: Install It

The instructions might look daunting at first glance, but by examining them carefully and laying out all the various pieces, screws, washers and bolts, it's really not that hard.

How you mount the bracket will depend on the wall as there are different methods for masonry (block), dry and timber stud walls.
